Overview of Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is a province located in the far north of Thailand. It’s bordered by Burma and Laos, and is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in all of Southeast Asia. The province is best known for its stunning mountain scenery, as well as its many ancient temples and ruins.

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Chiang Rai is the perfect place to do so. The province is relatively quiet and relaxed, and offers visitors a chance to experience true Thai culture. There are a number of great places to visit in Chiang Rai, so be sure to add it to your list of must-see destinations in Thailand!
