Had Rin Beach

Had Rin is world-famous as the home of the legendary Full Moon Party, which has drawn revelers from around the globe since the late 1980s. The southeastern tip of Koh Phangan transforms monthly into one of the world’s largest beach parties, with multiple venues, international DJs, and tens of thousands of dancers on the sand. Beyond the parties, Had Rin offers a striking beach with excellent swimming, a backpacker-friendly atmosphere, and easy access to the rest of the island. Sunrise Beach on the east side provides the party venue and morning views, while quieter Sunset Beach on the west offers a more relaxed vibe. The area has plenty of budget accommodation, restaurants, and bars operating year-round.
