Overview of Hua Hin

Hua Hin is a seaside resort town in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand. It is located on the Gulf of Thailand, some 200 km south of Bangkok. Hua Hin has been a favourite holiday destination of the Thai royal family since the 1920s. The town has a population of about 90,000 people and it is estimated that 400,000 to 500,000 international tourists visit Hua Hin each year.

Hua Hin and its surrounding areas are also popular for windsurfing, kiteboarding, and other water sports. The town has several golf courses and is also known for its spas and massage parlours. There are many luxury hotels and resorts in Hua Hin, as well as more affordable accommodations. Hua Hin is also home to a number of temples and other religious sites.
