Ranong Guide
Southern province on the Andaman coast, home to the beautiful Koh Phayam
Overview of Ranong
The most northerly province of Thailand’s Andaman coast and located 568 kilometers away from Bangkok is Ranong. It is a mountainous and heavily forested province and has a capital city that serves as a major fishing and trading port.
Ranong is the least populated province in Thailand. It is less touristy and is a great choice for those looking for a laid-back vacation or for experiencing the local life. You can enjoy strolling at the lovely beaches, cycling around, snorkeling, and swimming. Don’t miss to try the famous hot springs and the diverse local food which is a blend of Chinese, Malay, and Burmese.
